Next week is Finals week! Short semester  is fine for  me, except the fact that we won't be having revision week and we'll be sitting for finals earlier! 

Just creating posting this to inform that I won't be updating for 1 or 2 week. ☹

I strongly suggest you to bring over your loved one for a lunch in the Samplings as you just have to spend RM28.00 for a 3 course meal ; 2 selection of starter and main course, dessert and coffee or tea at the end of your meal! :)

You can dine peacefully with a bright light from the huge mirror in Samplings or you can even watch our chef at work! 

There you go. It's an open view kitchen concept as you can see. :)

Who needs bread?

Introducing KFC Zinger Double Down Sandwich! 

This "sandwich" features two thick boneless chicken meat fillet with two pieces of bakon, two melted cheese, slathered with mayo in between the chicken!

"This product is so meaty, there's no room for a bun!" ; Claims the kfc.com. ;)

When I saw the commercial, I just couldn't get over it. After getting well from my stoopid food poisoning last Thursday, the first thing I did was send my favourite senior a text message, calling her to KFC for lunch!

So, the next day(Friday), we went to KFC in Time Square, lower ground floor happily with her friend tagging along. 

I ordered the Zinger Double Down combo meal which cost me about 12 bucks with Cheesy Wedges and a drink. I happily took my meal to the table and sat down with them.

After settling down in a corner. I opened the box impatiently, teared off the wrapper (a bit disappointed with the size and appearance). It was not that appealing like the one in advertisements but hey! Don't judge a book by it's cover! 

So I took my first bite..

One word. 

Disappointment.

The meat was too salty, greasy and filled with black pepper and oil taste! 

I can't believe I struggled so hard to finish up that sandwich. (I didn't even finish it) And the sad part is, the meat was too salty that I couldn't even eat my favourite cheesy wedges!! I finished up my Pepsi faster than my meal, sadly. Need I say more? Um..

*sigh*

Who can resist ABC on a hot weather?

 Hai bloggy and whoever reading this right now, sorry to dissapoint you, but this post is just about my awesome "lunch" and dinner yesterday. :p

Yesterday, mom had some work to be settled in Pekan Batu 11. As we went there early and we're both free, mom asked if I want something to eat and of course, due to the hot weather, I asked for ABC! :D

So we walked to Mamak ABC and usually, we will buy one and share it but yesterday, to my surprise, mom ordered two ABC. :O

Mom's unexplainable smile when the server put the ABCs on the table. xD

The huge and tall ABC! :O 

We had hard time eating it though. One must be patient enough to eat all the extra ices on the top before getting to eat the awesome pearl sago, chendol, cincau, corns and red beans with the brown sugar syrup on the bottom of the cup!! >.<

After about 30 minutes of eating cold ice with concentrated milk and colourings, I finally found the real excitement. >.<

Done with "lunch". So now, bout my dinner.... *drumrolls*

Curry Flavoured Instant Noodle!! xD

I made Maggi with chopped onions and garlic, some tomato, dried Italian herbs, a little bit of chicken stock powder for extra flavour and vegetarian chicken. :D

Fine Dining for 28 bucks!! :)

As you know, I joined BUCH last May.

Just started my second sem recently and for this sem, I'll be doing my practical class in Samplings on the Fourteenth, Time Square every Thursday! :)

If you feel like bringing your loved ones for a affordable fine dining experience, I strongly suggest you to come to Samplings on the Fourteenth! :) 

You can dine peacefully with the view of KL through the huge mirror on the corner of the restaurant.

Yes, it's an open kitchen concept. You can watch how your dish is being prepared by BERJAYA University College of Hospitality chef students during lunch time. :D

We will be serving Table D'Hote Menu which is a set meal (3 course meal with choices of appetizer and main-course and dessert) just for RM28.00!

Coffee or Tea is included in the set meal too :)

College Lifeeee! :)

Hey bloggie! Its been sooo long since I updated you, isn't it? 

Well, I got very busy after I joined college. So, since its my first semester break, I'll update you with my never-ending college life, alright?  

*Of course, I'll simplify it* 

Sooo, I managed to pass my disastrous SPM ( just 6A's) and joined the best college for Culinary Arts in Malaysia; BERJAYA University College of Hospitality which is located in Berjaya Time Square! 

I joined BUCH on May, which is when my lovely sister came back homee. 

So, to welcome her home, I bought this simple small little cake for her. :) 

Her birthday was on 18th of April. 

Aaaand, this is what she brought back home for us!! x) 

Tons of candies, cookies and Hershey's Kisses!! 

And.. see that "little" Domo back there? Yep, I got a new companion on bed. ;)

Since I'm a chef student, my long hair was such a nuisance to me. Especially during service classes. I had to tie it into bun and of course, my silly hair can never be tied into a bun. So, I just 'chopped' them off. ;|

There. Le me with short hair.(the one in the middle) And thats my current girlfriends; Sindhi and Suha. 

That picture was taken in the Pavilion's toilet, if I'm not mistaken. 

And *eherm*..Since we're studying in KL, we go out quit a lot. ;p 

KLCC, Pavilion, Fahrenheit88, Bukit Bintang.. You name it. ;p

OH! And since my sister's home, she dragged me to Time Square's Theme Park one day! Man, I had a blast with her. She even forced me to try the little kids' rides. xD

Talking bout places, friends and sister make me forgot bout studies.  LOL, jk. Here's pretty much what I do in college! :)

Sweet bun, croissants, baguettes, muffins, doughnuts,..

Pastas, rice, eggs. Some of the irresistible dish from Basic Culinary classes! :)

 Talking about cooking and irresistible dishes remind me of... free foooods!! Best thing about our Basic Food and Beverage Service class is not only the fact that we have to learn service by working in Upper EastSide Cafe in Time Square, but the staff meal!

 Hotdogs, huge burgers, salads, curry mee, roti jala, puree, you name it! We eat, eat and eat every single week, baby. :3

As I learn new things, day by day, in my amazing lil college, I started cooking at house too.

Fried chicken with mushroom sauce, pilaf rice, chocolate cake, bread pudding, croquettes, and many more! Yep. beJelly. :3

On the beginning of this month, we had our Finals. 

This is what me and my group mates did for our Pastry and Baking (Practical) Finals! :)

And this is what me and Suha did for our Basic Culinary (Practical) Finals. Fried chicken with mushroom sauce, pilaf rice with some vegetables. :)

I enjoyed my first semester so much and brought so much happiness to my family members too (by bringing home awesome foods ;p) but of course, every good things will eventually come to an end one day. Well, it didn't really end but my sister's three months holiday in Malaysia was almost over. So...

We had to bid her farewell~

Aaand, I finished my theory Finals successfully *trumpet sound* and here am I. Being lifeless again, in front of computer, television... and fridge. :3 -xoxo

Three Days and Two Nights at Perak .

Got a call from Perak and I got to know that Grandma died today . I'm so glad I got the chance to take care of her for atleast two months last year . But my only regret is , that was the last I met her .

No dinner . No place to sleep . But somehow , I managed to get a sofa at 3 a.m.

One lady , (my unknown aunt) seriously spoled my happy moments with the kids there .
